We wanted to give you an update on Covid-19. The Club will continue to monitor the situation and at present we are following UK Government and Volleyball England guidance. On this basis the current position will be that all trainings and games will continue as usual subject to the following precautions:
– All members should wash their hands in line with UK Government guidance before and after every session
– We will follow VE guidance on relaxed handshake rules at matches and the regular washing of equipment – please all do your bit here to help at sessions and maintain cleanliness standards
– If you have been to an at risk country in the last 14 days, have any of the symptoms (persistent cough or temperature) or have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms, please do not attend sessions and fixtures until you are feeling better or the 14 days has passed.
– If you are unwell or need to self-isolate keep your Team Manager and Coach updated so that we can plan accordingly.
If you don’t feel that’s right for you don’t worry – just stay active in other ways!
As a Club our priority is safeguarding our members and the wider community. Therefore, we will continue to monitor the situation and if the advice from Volleyball England or the UK Government changes or our venues have to close for any reason then we will adapt accordingly and notify you all. This might mean we have to postpone or cancel training or fixtures at short notice – please do be patient as the volunteers do their best to manage this with the least possible disruption to you all.
If you have any questions or queries do get in touch. For regular updates see facebook, Instagram and twitter.
Stay safe and see you all soon!
