Both the ladies and the mens Division 3 teams have recently got their first double wins. The ladies game first with a 3-1 win v Northampton and then a 3-1 win v Nottingham Rockets. It was quickly followed up by the men who got a 3-1 win v Stowmarket and a 3-2 win (17-15 in the last!) against Newcastle Staffs. The double wins have helped both teams consolidate their positions in the league tables. It’s no mean feat for the ladies as it is their first season in National League and the girls have shown they can get the wins and have great fun.
The men have one double header left this season and the girls two double headers (four games) so still lots to play for. The womens division 2 team are also in a good position mid-table with two games remaining this season. #goriga
